I Build Technology That Scales.
about me
Build better technology, solve meaningful problems, and help great teams do their best work.
I am a technology leader and engineering executive with 12+ years of experience across software engineering, product development, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering leadership.
I currently serve as Head of Engineering (Director) at Jatri, where I lead technology and engineering across a large-scale mobility and travel platform serving millions of users. My work spans bus ticketing, car rental, launch tickets, multimodal travel search, payments, marketplace systems, distributed backends, cloud infrastructure, and platform engineering.
I started my career as a web developer and Android engineer, then progressed through backend engineering, architecture, DevOps, team leadership, and executive technology roles. That hands-on foundation helps me connect engineering decisions with business outcomes — scalability, reliability, speed of delivery, and long-term product value.
At Jatri, I have helped scale engineering through multiple growth stages — from early product development to platform expansion, international growth, and recognition on the Forbes Asia 100 To Watch list. I care deeply about building systems that work under real-world pressure and teams that grow stronger with every challenge.
Beyond my day job, I contribute to open-source libraries, mentor engineers, interview technical talent, and share knowledge through writing and community engagement. I believe strong engineering leadership is equal parts technical judgment, people development, and operational discipline.

Hands-On Technical Depth
Leadership works best when grounded in real engineering experience — architecture, code quality, debugging, and production systems.
Business-Aware Engineering
Technology should create measurable product and business value — not complexity for its own sake.
People-First Leadership
Great products are built by teams with clarity, ownership, mentorship, and psychological safety.

Core Expertise
what i believe
Technology should solve business problems.
Engineering is most valuable when technology, product, and business objectives work together.
Build for scale, but don't over-engineer.
Good architecture should solve today's problems while creating a path toward tomorrow's scale.
Reliability is a feature.
Reliability, observability, security, and disaster recovery should be part of engineering—not afterthoughts.
Great teams build great products.
Technology leadership is ultimately about people—building teams where engineers take ownership and continuously grow.

what i focus on
I approach technology leadership through three connected priorities — product impact, engineering excellence, and people development. Together, they shape how I build platforms, lead teams, and deliver outcomes at scale.
Product & Platform
Turn strategy into products that create real business value.
I work at the intersection of product vision and engineering execution — shaping platforms that support mobility, travel, ticketing, payments, and marketplace experiences. The goal is not just to ship features, but to build durable product foundations that scale with the business.
Engineering & Infrastructure
Design systems that are scalable, secure, and built to last.
From architecture and backend systems to cloud infrastructure and DevOps, I focus on building technology that performs under real-world pressure. Reliability, observability, security, and operational resilience are core engineering responsibilities — not optional extras.
People & Leadership
Build teams that take ownership and grow with the mission.
Strong engineering organizations are built through clarity, trust, mentorship, and high standards. I invest in hiring, developing technical leaders, improving engineering practices, and creating a culture where people can do their best work while delivering meaningful outcomes.

My Business
open source
Open-source DevOps and infrastructure tooling — Docker environments, database sync, caching, and automation setups I use and share for production-grade engineering workflows.
Complete Docker setup for Laravel apps — Nginx, PHP-FPM, queue workers, cron jobs, and magic.sh automation for deployment, SSL, and environment management across dev, staging, and production.
Laravel DevOps
Public ImpactSyncMongoDB
Near real-time MongoDB sync from remote Atlas to a local instance using Change Streams, resumable keyset batching, health metrics, and automatic recovery when resume tokens expire.
RedisCloud
Docker-based Redis deployment with configurable redis.conf, compose orchestration, and magic.sh helpers for spinning up a production-ready caching layer.
n8n Cloud Ready
Cloud-ready n8n automation stack with Docker Compose, NGINX reverse proxy, Let's Encrypt SSL, and an interactive magic.sh menu for setup and day-to-day operations.

The Right Solution for the Context
Good engineering is not always about the smartest or most sophisticated solution. Sometimes the best decision is to write less code, keep architecture simple, and solve the problem reliably.
When Respectfully Saying “No” Builds Stronger Teams
A workplace where everyone says “yes” eventually loses critical thinking. The strongest teams are built on psychological safety — where ideas are judged on merit, not on who speaks them.
True Leadership Is Often Silent
Leadership is built in the trenches — standing firm under pressure, listening before speaking, and creating light through action, not spotlight. Respect is earned through consistency and character.
I Build Environments Where Engineers Can Thrive
My job is not to control — it is to provide clarity, context, and care. Great engineering cultures are built on trust, shared responsibility, and leaders who know when to listen, step in, or step back.
Belief and Clarity Drive Engineering Innovation
The greatest innovations begin with conviction — belief in the vision, the team, and the path forward. Leadership is about seeing what is possible before it is obvious and helping others see it too.
Building a Self-Hosted WhatsApp Automation System
Combining AI workflows, AWS infrastructure, and event-driven engineering to listen, decide, and act in real time — where software engineering and operations are converging fast.
Launching Jatri Multimodal Travel Search
One search across buses, cars, and more — solving a real local problem with integrations, real-time data, and UX that feels effortless behind the scenes.
The Best Way to Learn Is to Teach Others
Peer learning and open team discussions help engineers solidify what they know, simplify complexity, and grow together — not through hierarchy, but collective intelligence.
